The Role

\n

The Depot Manager is responsible and accountable for the Jacksonville, FL Warehouse. This role ensures the department fulfils supply to customers, depots and consignment customers as required. This role develops systems that are incorporated with business systems to ensure all abrasive products are procured in a cost effective and timely manner. The Depot Manager provides support to internal customers as required and ensures all flow sheets are received and all relevant data completed to manage customers/depot requirements.

  • Manage Abrasive Depots

  • Manage Consignment Stock - Abrasives
  • \n
  • Directing Staff to ensure priorities are achieved
  • \n
  • Action Back Orders
  • \n
  • Analyze Abrasive Inventory levels.
  • \n
  • Follow up held releases.
  • \n
  • Follow up final release costs for invoicing.
  • \n
  • Review customer usages and reorder levels
  • \n
  • Assist with Stock takes as directed
  • \n
  • Ensure stock counts are accurate at all times.
  • \n
  • Obtain record transport quotations.
  • \n
  • Transport Matrix
  • \n
  • Abrasive Releases and Action orders.
  • \n
  • Check transport companies’ invoices are complete.
  • \n
  • Reconcile Weekly Abrasive Depot Flow Sheets
  • \n
  • Enter correct cyclic counts data and calculate variance.
  • \n
  • Investigate discrepancies with cyclic counts completed.
  • \n
  • Ensure monthly cyclic count of all abrasive related Numbers is performed and entered.
  • \n
  • Other tasks and duties based upon business needs.
  • \n

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience managing a team and/or function

  • Shipping & Receiving experience
  • \n
  • Logistics experience
  • \n
  • Customer Service
  • \n
  • High School Diploma
  • \n
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • \n
  • Enthusiasm, drive, passion
  • \n
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle everyday challenges.
  • \n
  • Incredible Customer Service skills
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems
  • \n
  • Forklift Trained
  • \n
  • Heavy lifting up to but not limited to 70 lbs.
  • \n
  • M-F Schedule in between the hours of 7am-5pm
  • \n
  • Minimal travel
