Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Position: RNFA – CVOR

Location: Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full scope of CVOR RNFA duties , including:
  • On- and off-pump CABG
  • Valve replacements
  • Robotic cases (DaVinci system)
• Endovascular vein harvesting may be included (based on experience and surgeon approval)

Call Requirements:

• 1 night of call per week
• 3 weekends of call per month
• 1 backup call shift per week
• Additional call may be required occasionally

Float:

• No float required

Required Certifications:

• AHA BLS (American Heart Association)
• WI RN License – Active
• RNFA Certification – Highly Preferred

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years of CVOR cardiac experience
• RNFA experience in CVOR – Required
• Level II Trauma experience – Required
• Previous travel assignment – Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Required
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Strong adaptability, resilience, and communication skills

Additional Info:

• Scrubs: Provided by facility
• Radius Rule: Traveler must live 50+ miles from facility (expires 7/8)
