Position Overview

We are seeking a *part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)* with a passion for neuro rehabilitation and communication therapy. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. There is potential for this role to grow into full-time as our patient base expands.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
* Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
* Provide therapy targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing safety
* Document patient progress and maintain billing accuracy compliant with regulations
* Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians
* Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings

Requirements

* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Current Michigan SLP license required
* ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
* Minimum 2 years experience in neuro rehabilitation preferred
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Valid Michigan driver’s license and current auto insurance
