Our client, a leader in the security industry, is seeking a Security Officer to join their team. As a Security Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $16 per hour

What's the Job?

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure safety and security.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and taking appropriate action.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers and managing access points.
• Completes reports and other required paperwork as assigned.

What's Needed?

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and security.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to monitor and maintain the environment by overseeing building and equipment.
