As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Specialist in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. In this engaging role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and interact with the public to deliver outstanding customer service. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your duties. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with local staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to authorized personnel and visitors.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An active armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
