Overview:

Manufacturing Co., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in Duncan, OK, is seeking a Check & Straighten Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role involves inspecting and straightening aluminum sheet metal airplane parts to exact tolerances while ensuring compliance with military specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused.

Skills and Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect sheet metal parts for flatness, contour, and conformity to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Use specialized tools, templates, and fixtures to correct and straighten parts to exact tolerances.

• Work closely with forming and quality teams to ensure parts meet all standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints and military specifications.

• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing.

• Previous work in manufacturing or machining.

• Familiarity with hand tools or forming tools.
