Insight Global is searching for Experienced Pro Fee Ortho E/M Medical Coders to support one of our largest healthcare clients in the Southeast. These individuals will sit remotely and work in EST, but will have flexibility of work schedule to start anytime between 6AM-9AM EST. This position will be specifically dedicated to the Orthopedic E/M work queue so candidates should be experienced with E/M Ortho coding and minor office procedures. You will also be responsible for coding denials, assisting with coding audits and collaborating with teammates for complex cases. To qualify for this role, you must hold an active CPC, CCS, RHIA or RHIT certification and must be certified through either HEMA or AAPC.
Must Haves:
-At least 5 years of coding experience
-CPC Certification is Required (CCS can replace this requirement)
-Experience with Ortho E/M and minor office procedures
Plusses:
-Ortho Surgical OR experience
-Advanced Coding Certifications - Certified Orthopedic Surgery Coder (COSC)
