Manufacturing Process Engineer – Contract-to-Hire
Up to $120,000
We are a chic, design-forward furniture manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with a background in plastics to optimize production processes and bring innovative solutions to our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.
What You’ll Do
Process Optimization – Analyze and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
Materials Innovation – Apply expertise in plastics and modern manufacturing methods to support product development and production.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with design, production, and engineering teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
Technology Integration – Assist in implementing advanced systems and technologies to streamline workflows.
Continuous Improvement – Drive lean initiatives and promote best practices to reduce waste and add value.
What We’re Looking For
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical drawings, and tolerances.
Background in plastics processing (injection molding, thermoforming, or related).
Familiarity with product design and 3D CAD software.
Experience with rapid prototyping and innovative production techniques.
