Job Title: Sr. Talent Solutions Consultant at Modis Engineering

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for a Direct Hire position in Clearwater, FL or Grand Rapids, MI. This position is fully onsite, offering growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including bonuses upon conversion.

Compensation

Hourly Rate Range: $130,000 to $156,000/year; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of systems design and development experience.
• Experience in Avionics Systems Engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering and experience in the full lifecycle of development programs.
• Experience with DOORS or similar tools.
• Self-motivated individual.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Data Transfer Systems, data products, and networks.
• Experience with solid-state drives and Ethernet.
• Familiarity with DO-178 and DO-254 standards.
• Ability to read and critique electrical schematics and software source code.
• Experience developing software in Python, C, or similar languages.
• Background in hardware, schematic reading, and critique.
• Experience with systems modeling tools/languages (e.g., Cameo, SysML, MATLAB). Moving toward model-based engineering is a plus.
• Experience designing Cyber Security, Computing Platforms, Data Networking, and embedded software.
• Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance on avionics systems definition, design, integration, and verification.
• Experience with developing avionics computing and data server products at the LRU level.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes, including requirements definition, allocation, management, verification, and validation.
• Hands-on experience in labs integrating software onto hardware, working with test equipment, and design assurance disciplines.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and lead design reviews from SRR to PR.
