We take laundry seriously, and we’re searching for a Laundry Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and passion for perfection to ensure every linen and guest item is washed, dried, and folded to meet our exceptional standards. Responsibilities Clean and store linens/uniforms in a timely, organized manner to ensure the hotel’s laundry and linen needs are met. Receive soiled linens by bag, cart, or chute from the floors; sort all articles by kind, color, and degree of soil; inspect all laundry and linens and record all damaged or stained items. Operate washers, dryers, linen feeders, sheet folders, towel folders, and table linen ironers according to manufacturer guidelines; ensure necessary chemicals are added in correct quantities before wash cycles. Fold clean linens and store as appropriate. Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions. Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste within the laundry facility. Sort and record discarded linen into categories; report damages or loss of linen to supervisor. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Assist with other duties as assigned. Qualifications Legal right to work in the U.S.; must reside in the U.S. and be ready for in‑person interviews. Basic reading, writing, and math skills; preferably some laundry experience and ability to speak English. Capacity to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds and push/pull approximately 400 pounds. Frequent standing, moving, handling objects and equipment, bending, stooping, kneeling. Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays, including public holidays. Strong communication skills when interacting with other employees and supervisors. Ability to determine appropriate amounts of chemicals and log poundage for laundry and stains. Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $19.97 – $20.98. Room discount and superb training.
