This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Fine Arts. The High School Fine Arts Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Art, Education, or related field. Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate, professional or temporary required. Three (3) years or more of experience. Excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students. Strong presentation skills and knowledge with instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred. Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
