Executive Director, Career Advancement job at University of Miami. Coral Gables, FL.
The Unanue Graduate Career Advancement Center at the Miami Herbert Business School is actively searching for an experienced Executive Director. This leader will spearhead the Unanue Graduate Career Advancement department, shaping a visionary strategy aimed at enhancing career outcomes for graduate business students. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, and administration of comprehensive career advancement services. They will actively foster relationships with external organizations and professionals to create diverse opportunities in employment, internships, co-op programs, and experiential learning.

Responsibilities

Strategic planning and visionary leadership for career advancement services.
Employer relations and development of employer partnerships.
Career counseling and coaching for graduate business students and alumni.
Program development and innovation in career services.
Data analysis, evaluation, and reporting to inform strategy and outcomes.
Budget management and oversight.
Collaboration with stakeholders and leadership of the career advancement team.
Collaboration with the Associate Dean of Career and Industry Engagement.
Representation of the college locally and nationally.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree (MBA or relevant Business Masters preferred).
Coaching certification preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in career services at an accredited business school or as a recruiter for graduate business students.
Knowledge of business and management principles, project management, career development theories, and counseling processes.
