Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport various construction materials, including gravel, sand, dirt, rock, and asphalt, to and from job sites.
  • Follow designated routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working order before starting shifts, checking the tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the fleet manager.
  • Safely load and unload materials at designated job sites, ensuring proper distribution and handling of materials.
  • Stay in constant communication with dispatchers to receive loading instructions, confirm pick-up times, and provide updates on delivery status.
