Tallahassee State College (TSC) is seeking a full-time College Admissions Recruiter to join their Recruiting and Admissions team. The role involves student advisement and assessment related to academic programs and college requirements. Responsibilities include planning and attending recruiting activities such as college fairs and outreach on TSC campuses and in the community, supporting recruitment for distance education, degree and certificate programs, and off-site service centers. The recruiter will communicate with prospective students in person, by phone, and virtually; coordinate tracking and communications during the admissions process; guide students through application, admission, orientation, and registration; provide pre-collegiate and career advising; manage ongoing contact and public relations with students, staff, and community; supervise student ambassadors; and coordinate campus tours. The recruiter will also review and interpret placement and standardized test scores, unofficial transcripts, course prerequisites, and degree audits; provide guidance on graduation requirements; assist with dual enrollment registration and advising. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, with a master's degree substituting for one year of experience.
