Entry Level Test and Evaluation Technical Services Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Entry Level Test and Evaluation Technical Services Specialist (Level 1) to join our Test and Evaluation Engineering (Metrology Support) team in Heath, Ohio.
The Entry Level Test and Evaluation Technical Services Specialist supports engineering testing efforts and equipment builds through the acquisition of test materials, fixtures, and components. Working under close supervision, the person in this position will acquire test equipment and test services from a variety of companies to achieve specific goals.
This is accomplished through contact with customers, engineering groups, a variety of procurement agents, buyers and others. As such, this position requires a person that is comfortable talking to others and can accurately convey details.
Capturing data is key involving multiple systems. A successful candidate will have experience using or a background in databases, entering data, generating reports, etc.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the acquisition of test materials/fixtures/articles/vehicles.
Obtains test equipment necessary for the performance of tests.
Sends test equipment out to vendors or suppliers for repair.
Works under close supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience with databases, entering data, and/or generating reports
Strong communication skills
Must be detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Background in Electronics and/or Mechanical fields
Experience working in Supply Chain

Summary pay range: $39,100 - $52,900
