Overview:

 

Assess and evaluate patient eligibility for admission to the Rehab Center, communicates with physicians, patients, and families to provide information related to the patient's admission, rehabilitation, and discharge.

Qualifications:

• Experience: This clinician needs to a minimum of 2 years of healthcare admissions experience as well as three years clinical experience in rehab or acute services.
• Required Education: The screener must be a licensed clinician (PT, OT, ST, SW, RT, RN, LPN) in the state of practice.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's in health-related field of study.
• Other: Good verbal and written communication skills. Clinical experience required with demonstrated skills in clinical assessments and marketing. Requires a professional level of knowledge in physician relations and interfacing with insurance companies. Must have a working knowledge of current medical terminology, computer operation, business machines.
