Salary: 20.00 per hour

Do you have a bachelor's degree and an interest in becoming a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor?

We are looking for a few qualified individuals who have a heart for helping men and women in recovery from addiction to work in our Bristol and Abingdon locations. Must have a bachelor's degree with coursework in a Human Services field. Our Certified Substance Abuse Counselors lead groups, manage a caseload to link/refer individuals to services in the community and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help residents in their journey to recovery.
Fairview Housing's Bristol Lifestyle Recovery and Mended Women Lifestyle Recovery provide low intensity residential treatment to men and women in recovery from addiction.

We are looking for a candidate that has:

• Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with other agency personnel
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to intervene in crisis situations and support staff in navigating these crises successfully
• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
  
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in a Human Services field
• Valid Driver's License
  
• Background check & Drug screen required
