Medical X-Ray Equipment Field Service Engineer needed for a Permanent Full-Time position working from Denver, CO.
Required/Desired Skills/Experiences include:
- Medical X-ray equipment system installation and service.
- CR (Computed Radiography) and DR (Digital Radiography) digital X-ray imaging modalities and DICOM protocols.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a field-based role.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Preferred experience in X-ray room construction or servicing portable X-ray equipment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Colorado and surrounding states.
As a Medical X-Ray Equipment Field Service Engineer , your responsibilities include:
This position is responsible for performing on-site installation, preventive maintenance, routine repair, and calibration of medical x-ray products and equipment, using established guidelines. The Field Service Engineer will support customers in an assigned territory, ensuring optimal performance of healthcare imaging solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical x-ray products and equipment.
- Support sales, service, and management teams with technical expertise.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for service-related issues.
- Isolate and correct start-up malfunctions.
- Train customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
- Prepare accurate daily logs and service reports.
- Handle a variety of complex service situations.
- Install and service CR/DR imaging products.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of DICOM standards.
- Technical Skills – Continuously build knowledge and share expertise.
- Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking – Use data-driven insights to develop effective solutions.
- Customer Focus – Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and feedback.
