Job Description

Warehouse Logistics Specialist

Salary: $19/hr

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034

Industry: Defense/Industrial

Schedule: M-F 6AM-2:30PM

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience required.
• Experience with a stand-up forklift required.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (specifically Outlook and Excel) required.
• Experience with SAP highly desired.
• Steel toed shoes are required.
• Ability to lift 35lbs occasionally
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.
• Organizes warehousing for goods.
• Reviews inventory to ensure that product adjustments are properly applied.
• Plans and schedules inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs.
• Acts as liaison between customers, freight carriers and shipping department.
• Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, by investigating and resolving detention issues.
• Assists in cost control by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-efficient method of shipment within Department of Defense guidelines.
