Electrophysiology Tech needed to support cardiac diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures in a hospital setting. The technologist will provide technical assistance during complex cardiovascular procedures, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing electrophysiology, diagnostic, and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Provide technical support and operate specialized EP lab equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff during procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient documentation using charting systems (Cerner preferred).
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, CMS, and Joint Commission standards.
• Participate in call coverage as required. Ax

Eligibility & Requirements

Requirement Details
Certifications (Required) ARRT – Required
State License Active Tennessee or Compact – Required
Experience 1 year with travel OR 2+ years without travel (3+ years preferred)
Charting System Cerner – Preferred
Travel Experience At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
Call Requirement Yes – Call required
Floating May float between like units/campuses within 20 miles (rare)
Vaccine (COVID-19) Not Required
Flu Vaccine Required – No exemptions
Holiday Requirement Must work 2 of 3 if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s fall within contract (or 1 of 2 if only two holidays fall)
Local Candidate Rule Must live at least 100 miles from facility
Orientation Policy 16 hours, unpaid
RTO Policy All RTO must be declared at submission – no changes after
Compliance Note DL copy required at submittal, best contact time must be on profile, expiring certs must show renewal plan
