Job Description Under direct supervision, develop large‑scale projects such as highways, tunnels, mass transit and aviation engineering designs of basic complexity to meet client requirements. Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Ensure firm policies and practices are followed on all designs. Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications, updating design requirements as necessary. Inspect new construction and existing transportation structures as needed. Contribute to the firm's knowledge management by developing white papers and technical documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc. Submit technical papers and designs for publication to technical journals. Perform other duties as required. Create or work with a team to produce conference posters or other presentation materials. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, Structural Engineering or related discipline. 0 years of experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Amount Of Travel Required 10% Skills And Abilities Basic knowledge of computer‑assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design. Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.). Good verbal and written communication skills.
