Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education teaching position based in Corrales, NM offers an opportunity to support 7th-grade middle school students with diverse learning needs. The role involves providing targeted special education services for students with autism, learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support services both through push-in and pull-out models within general education settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and goals
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation including IEPs and progress reports
• Manage a caseload of up to 16 students
• Foster positive relationships and provide behavioral interventions to promote student growth and success

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Current and valid Special Education certification
• Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
• Strong skills in managing diverse caseloads including autism and emotional/behavioral needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff
