Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated Set Up Technician to join their team. As a Set Up Technician, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring efficient operation of machinery and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Set Up Technician

Location: Dresser, WI

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday 4:15pm - 2:45am, overtime as needed

What's the Job?

• Set up and prepare machines (Punch Press, Turret, Press Brake) for production runs.
• Install, adjust, change, and align tooling and equipment to meet specifications.
• Review blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
• Operate machines to bend, form, or punch metal according to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout production to ensure product accuracy and quality.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in machine setup or assembly within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and computers.
• Familiarity with CADKEY (for Press Brake operations) is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
