We are seeking a visionary and strategic product leader to serve as Senior Vice President, Product Management, Platforms. This executive will oversee the platforms that power our editorial, innovation, and performance capabilities, setting a transformative vision that accelerates our ability to create world-class digital experiences. The SVP of Platforms will play a central role in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to drive efficiency, unlock innovation, and enable smarter, faster decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep product leadership with strong executive communication skills and a proven track record of managing complex stakeholders to deliver impact at scale.

Your role accountabilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for core editorial platforms, including the CMS and related tools that empower journalists, editors, and content creators.
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities (e.g., content tagging, recommendations, workflow automation, assistive tools) to enhance usability, efficiency, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Partner closely with editorial leadership to align platform direction with newsroom needs while maintaining editorial integrity.
  • Lead the development and evolution of internal tools that accelerate innovation, including experimentation platforms, feature flagging, and data-driven decision-making frameworks.
  • Harness AI to optimize testing, personalization, and predictive insights, creating a culture of rapid iteration and smarter experimentation.
  • Ensure the platforms integrate seamlessly into product workflows, enabling teams to move faster and deliver higher-impact outcomes.
  • Set the vision for site and app performance, balancing speed, stability, and scalability to deliver exceptional user experiences across devices.
  • Leverage AI-driven monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization tools to ensure platforms meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to embed performance goals and intelligent automation into product development processes.
  • Establish a bold, transformative vision for Platforms that galvanizes the organization around shared goals.
  • Build and mentor high-performing product teams that deliver innovation and operational excellence.
  • Partner with executives across editorial, product, technology, and business to align strategies and priorities.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from C-suite presentations to product team strategy sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of product management and/or platform leadership experience, with at least 5 years at the executive level.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale platform initiatives across editorial, innovation, and performance domains.
  • Expertise in leveraging AI/ML technologies to drive efficiency, innovation, and customer value.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to define and execute transformative visions.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with experience managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of digital content ecosystems, experimentation frameworks, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $350,000.00 - $650,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
