Job Description

The Senior Specialist, Community & Associate Experience plays a vital role in shaping a positive and engaging culture across retail locations and the corporate office. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to drive initiatives that support associate well-being, volunteerism, and corporate social responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the operations of Build-A-Bear Foundation
  • Achieve goals and tasks set forth by the Board of Directors
  • Manage Hearts & Hugs Fund – select donation recipients, ensure timely deliveries, and achieve donation goal numbers
  • Communicate marketing of Build-A-Bear Foundation and other cause marketing programs
  • Create associate experience events
  • Execute rewards and recognition programs across the organization
  • Facilitate onboarding program for corporate associates

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in non-profit or events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams & SharePoint
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

P referred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree - Human Resources or Communications
  • Experience in development or fundraising at a non-profit organization
