Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Mobile Field Testing (4G/5G)

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to support all QA activities related to LTE and 5G field protocol testing, including SIM OTA activation. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies and validation plans to ensure UE (User Equipment) functionality meets both QA and carrier requirements. This role involves performing detailed analysis of 4G and 5G protocols, conducting field testing in live networks, and troubleshooting mobile handset devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of UE functionality on 4G/5G air interface and call processing technologies .
• Analyze and debug IMS-related features , including registration, VoLTE, VoWiFi, ViLTE, conferencing, SMS, MMS, and RCS.
• Perform post-processing of UE logs, analyzing various KPIs for performance evaluation.
• Utilize log post-processing tools such as QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, and ShannonDM for detailed OTA signaling message analysis.
• Execute field testing and troubleshoot LTE and 5G NR issues in live networks.
• Ensure comprehensive knowledge and application of 5G NSA and SA architectures .
• Validate UE compliance with SIM OTA activation requirements.
• Provide bilingual support for Korean-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of 4G and 5G air interface, call processing technologies, and network architecture , specifically focused on Radio Access Network.
• Expertise or familiarity with UE log post-processing tools and OTA signaling messages analysis.
• Previous experience in LTE and 5G NR field testing within live network environments.
• Ability to analyze and debug IMS-related features across multiple functionalities.
• Knowledge and proficiency in 5G NSA and SA technologies .
• Prior exposure to SIM OTA activation testing is a plus.
• Korean bilingual is required.
