We’re partnered with a well-established GC that’s been active in the Atlanta market for years — and now they’re entering a major growth phase. With multiple projects already underway and a strong pipeline of work on the horizon, they’re hiring a Construction Project Director to take the reins and lead their Atlanta operations.

This is a rare opportunity to be the point person for a growing regional division, own client relationships, mentor a team, and shape the long-term vision of a GC that’s investing heavily in Atlanta.

The Role:

• Lead and oversee all ground-up projects across Georgia
• Manage project teams, oversee schedules, budgets, client communication, and field execution
• Partner with the in-house BD team to help grow the pipeline and strengthen local relationships
• Work across a diverse portfolio : healthcare, higher ed, transportation/infrastructure, and several others
• Serve as the company’s Atlanta lead — help hire, mentor, and build out the local team

What They’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of ground-up construction experience (commercial, healthcare, education, infrastructure required)
• Strong people leadership background : mentoring PMs, supers, and building team culture
• Well-connected in the Atlanta subcontractor market, with existing client or industry relationships preferred
• Passion for both building and team development — someone who wants to grow an office, not just run projects
• No retail experience; this role requires technical, complex build experience
