Job Overview The Program Manager is responsible for managing a 24-hour behavioral health crisis assessment and intervention program. They report to the Director III for Region Ten Crisis Services, with minimal supervision, and may represent the Crisis Services Center in community meetings, liaise with other programs, conduct trainings, and coordinate with community partners. The role requires initiative, independent judgment, and occasional weekend, overnight, and holiday work. Responsibilities Manage a 24-hour crisis assessment and intervention program. Represent the Crisis Services Center in community meetings and liaise with other programs. Conduct staff training and presentations with stakeholders. Coordinate with community partners. Ensure compliance with professional ethics and organizational policies. Assist in training initiatives and compliance efforts. Work occasional weekends, overnights, and holidays. Qualifications Education Master’s degree in a human services field, sufficient for licensure (required). Completion of DBHDS training to become a Certified Prescreener, with ongoing credential maintenance. Experience Experience working with individuals in crisis. Experience in staff scheduling and supervision preferred. QMHP certification and five years of mental health experience required. Familiarity with populations such as SMI, SED, SUD, ID/DD and relevant resources. Certification/License Licensure as LCSW, LPC, LSATP preferred. Valid Virginia Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required. Personal automobile insurance for business use.
