Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Security Consultant

This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Location of the requirement is Foster City, CA. The role may require travel to project/Client location.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP Security experience, including 5+ years in S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong expertise in SAP GRC, Fiori, and SailPoint.
  • Proven experience in life sciences or pharma environments with GxP compliance.

Preferred

  • Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, user/role management, and audit controls.
  • Experience leading global teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and validation frameworks (CSV, GAMP5).
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISM, or SAP Security are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Security strategy and execution across S/4HANA and integrated systems (Fiori, GRC, Ariba, BTP, SAC, etc.).
  • Review and recommend security architecture solutions aligned with business and compliance needs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of SAP security analysts and consultants.
  • Conduct security workshops and drive role design, provisioning, and governance.
  • Collaborate with IT, audit, and business stakeholders to ensure robust access controls and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Maintain and enhance SAP GRC Access Control and SailPoint integrations.
  • Oversee security roadmap development, aligning with future business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and SOX standards.
  • Support validation activities including documentation, SOPs, CAPAs, and traceability matrices.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA / WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN : $114,000 to $167,000
In Washington, DC : $106,000 to $147,500
