Are you passionate about helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and confidence? We’re on the lookout for an energetic and dedicated Physical Therapist to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our innovative, patient-centered team!

In this exciting role, you’ll have the chance to transform lives by designing and implementing customized rehabilitation programs that boost mobility, relieve pain, and prevent future injuries. Your work will primarily focus on Orthopedic (75%) and Pelvic Health (25%) therapy, with opportunities to expand and shape the Pelvic program based on your passion and expertise!

Patient Assessment

• Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, care plans, goals, and discharge plans tailored to patient needs.
• Develop individualized plans of care in conjunction with patients and their families.
• Create realistic discharge plans that incorporate patient and family goals.

Treatment Planning and Provision of Care

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans effectively.
• Select appropriate activities to help patients progress toward their goals.
• Revise treatment goals and plans based on ongoing patient and family input.
• Provide continuous education and training for patients and families.
• Offer discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals to community resources as needed.
• Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.

Documentation

• Document evaluations and care plans according to departmental guidelines.
• Record each treatment session in line with established protocols.
• Complete all required documentation, including family education and discharge summaries.

• Follow departmental dress code and display ID badges appropriately.

• Observe infection prevention precautions.

• Complete annual competencies as required by the department.
• Maintain licensure through ongoing education.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new employees.
• Fulfill all mandatory hospital and system requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Georgia Physical Therapist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.

Experience:

• Relevant experience in physical therapy required.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Team collaboration abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
