Thank you for considering Progyny! Progyny is looking for a People Analytics and HRIS Analyst to join our People team. This individual is highly skilled and e xperienced with the Workday HRIS, specifically the core HR, Recruiting Payroll and Benefits modules . In partnership with the CHRO and the VP, People and DEI this individual will work on employee analytics projects that will enable the business to make data driven decisions. This role requires a technical and detail-oriented individual who will work closely with IT throughout the employee lifecycle. What you'll do... Configure, maintain and optimize the Workday HRIS to ensure accurate data management and reporting. Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making. Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for senior leadership and HR teams. Translate business requirements into system updates and enhancements in the Workday HRIS. Collaborate with HR teams to identify data needs, support HR projects, implement new workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and improve processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams supporting Finance, Internal Audit, and SOX Compliance. Assist in the implementation of HRIS modules and upgrades, including testing and training staff. Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations (CCPA & GDPR). Provide analytical support to talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives. Stay updated on HR technology trends and recommend improvements or new tools to enhance analytics capabilities. About you... Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. At least 2+ years of ownership of a Workday multi-product platform (HCM, ATS, and Learning), including familiarity with Workday tools like Sandbox, Community, and Preview. Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Experience with SOX Compliance for an HRIS platform of a publicly traded US Company (or multi-national). Integrations: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, nested formulas, and understanding of logic functions). Not just a "doer" but the ability to "share and teach". In accordance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary range for NYC-based applicants is $95,000 - $105,000. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and equity.
