Our client, a national supplier of interior & exterior building products, is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Rep to cover their Greater Montgomery AL territory.
Calling on: lumber yards and small home centers
This is an existing territory with 100+ inherited accounts. Besides managing current accounts candidates will be expected to grow the business by bringing in new distributors.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers base.
- Conducts sales calls out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers.
- Provide hands-on explanations of any new or updated products.
The ideal candidate for this position is a recent college grad who is looking to be in an outside sales role within the building materials industry. Exact experience is not required, but having a sales background, worked in distribution, or knowledge of the word working industry is highly desired.
Candidates must have willingness to learn, drive to succeed and want to advance within the company.
NOTE : while this is an Outside Sales role, the position will spend about 40% of their time for at least 6-months in-office to learn the whole business.
Must have a reliable vehicle, clean driving record & background check.
Comp: Base salary $40-$45K plus uncapped commissions, mileage reimbursement, medical benefits, paid time off, 401K.
