In this role, you will work cross-functionally to create engaging, high-quality video content that enhances user experience.
You will partner closely with design, product, and engineering teams, combining strong UX/UI animation skills with production expertise.
Key Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or video production
• Strong background in UX/UI animation and interaction design principles
• Expertise in After Effects, including compositing and use of plugins
• Proficiency with video editing, typography, and storytelling
• Familiarity with production pipelines and asset management
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering teams
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and creative problem-solving skills
Description:
As a Motion Designer on our team, you will:
• Create polished motion graphics and animations for in-app experiences, videos, and marketing assets
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop animations that enhance usability and delight users
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure creative consistency and technical accuracy
• Help define and maintain animation pipelines and best practices
• Contribute to ideation, storyboarding, prototyping, and post-production editing
• Explore and recommend new tools and plugins to improve workflow and output quality
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid role: Based in Culver City, CA, working onsite 3 days per week
Portfolio demonstrating strong motion design and UX/UI animation work is required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
