Job Description
As of now, we're looking to add a groomer and we have a few different scheduling options. We'd like to add someone to work 2 days a week either 10 or 12 hours (grooming 9-5 or 8-6 with 1 hour before to prep and 1-hour after to clean) on either Monday & Tuesday OR Friday & Saturday. Pay is commission based and is usually $250-$400 per day plus tips depending on how many pets you're willing/able to work on
This job entails operating within our state-of-the-art, fully equipped mobile grooming van set up with all necessary supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will embody reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, coupled with exceptional customer service skills and a genuine love for animals. With a focus on providing topnotch grooming services, this role requires prior experience as a pet stylist, as well as a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities outside of grooming:
• Perform daily maintenance and care of grooming workspace
• Fill water tank before each day
• Keep an eye on gas in the van and generator and fill up when needed
(company pays for gas)
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
• Drive responsibly with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
REQUIREMENTS / NON-NEGOTIABLES:
• 2 or more years of professional grooming experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must own your own shears and clippers
• Keep your tools clean and sharpened
• Proven experience as a pet stylist (we will ask for photos)
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Passion for working with Pets is a must!
