Job Description
Roebuck Staffing is hiring dependable Mine Laborers to support operations at the PCS/Nutrien mine in Aurora, NC. This position involves physical labor in an industrial mining environment and assisting skilled trades, operators, and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
• Perform general labor duties, including shoveling, sweeping, lifting, and material handling
• Assist equipment operators and maintenance personnel
• Clean and maintain work areas and walkways
• Load and unload tools, supplies, and materials
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions
• Work around heavy equipment and moving machinery
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements Requirements
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet conditions
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow safety instructions and site rules
• Reliable transportation required
• Must pass drug screen and background check
Preferred (Not Required)
• Previous mining, construction, or industrial labor experience
• MSHA certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with tools or heavy machinery
