Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving up to 1,250 students. Our mission is to prepare studentsparticularly multilingual learners and those who would be the first in their families to earn a college degreefor success in college and careers in order to achieve economic security and mobility. Position : Middle School Sub-Separate Classroom Aide (2025-2026)

Location : Boston, MA (Jamaica Plain Campus)

Start date : IMMEDIATE

OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Match Charter Public School an opening for a sub-separate classroom aide to start in the 2025-2026 school year. The position is based at Match Middle School, located on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain. The aide will support the success of a student with special needs who will learn in the middle schools sub-separate classroom. The aide will be expected to provide help with implementation of skills and goals in line with the students educational, physical, and social-emotional needs. Throughout the school day, the aide will support the students during instructional times both in and out of the classroom, and during lunch, breaks, and other non-instructional times. The student is wheelchair-bound and will need support with:

• academic and social-emotional needs
• navigating wheelchair throughout the school
• toileting and diaper changes

The aide is an integral member of our school team and collaborates closely with teachers, leaders, and the students family. It is a great opportunity for someone who relishes the idea of working with a student with special needs.

This is a full-time position. Compensation is $52,499.20 annual salary and can be higher if the candidate has prior relevant experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.

• have prior experience working with students or adults who have disabilities;
• is able to support a wheelchair-bound student with toileting/diaper change and is able to lift the student if needed;
• prior experience in home health care is a plus;
• possess a deep belief that all students can and will succeed and have a willingness to do whatever it takes;
• have an incredible amount of patience and willingness to go the extra mile; and
• be excited about the possibility of receiving feedback and using it to grow continually.
