The Redondo Beach Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is looking for a dynamic Laundry Attendant to join the team! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding of hotel linen. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: • Sort linens for washing. • Check for stains and treat appropriately. • Wash, dry, fold linen. • Run linen and deliver as requested. • Store linen in appropriate location. • Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition. • Report any missing/found articles or damage to the housekeeping supervisor. • Assist with room attendant duties as needed. • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. ***Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time *** Health Benefits, Travel Perks & More Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k, Vacation and Sick Leave are offered with this position along with a Team Member Travel Program, encouraging each team member to visit sister properties and enjoy exclusive team member rates for rest and relaxation.
