Job Description
We are a growing landscape maintenance and construction company actively looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician & Landscape Maintenance Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
· Must have at least 5+ years of verifiable irrigation and landscape maintenance experience.
· Experience working in a supervisory role, able to effectively take charge and lead when needed.
· Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of Irrigation systems and controller programing.
· Able to program the following controller systems; CalSense, Hunter, Irritrol, RainBird, Rain Master (required) and WeatherTRAK (preferred).
· Working Knowledge of Pesticide use /Weed Control.
· Computer savvy preferred i.e.; e-mailing, uploading photos, Microsoft Office knowledge a plus.
· Bilingual, must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently in English & Spanish.
· Valid CA driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to Company’s insurance carrier (You will be asked to provide this prior to interview).
· Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, people focused, trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, motived and a self-starter.
Duties:
· Program irrigation controllers and knowledge of water efficiency.
· Perform diagnostic on Irrigation systems and make repairs.
· Supervise and Manage maintenance crews of (2-4).
· Supervise all mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, blowing, pruning, deadheading, etc.
· Build and coach maintenance crews to provide Northern Landscape acceptable service standards.
· Frequent assessment of properties and crews.
· Constant communication with management and account managers.
· Implement safety practices and perform bi-weekly safety tail gate meetings with crews.
· Proactive in landscape management including landscape maintenance, irrigation and equipment needs and repairs.
Compensation:
· Payrate D.O.E. $28.00- $32.00/ Hr.
· Schedule: Monday - Friday
