Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for lot preparation, shipping, receiving, inspecting, and recording all outgoing finished products and ensuring they match appropriate purchase/sales orders. Provide support to production by providing necessary materials needed for producing products at appropriate times, while staging finished goods in the warehouse rack system, as well as raw materials in the warehouse.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with customer service for outgoing orders.
• Inspect all outgoing trucks and load products according to the customer purchase order.
• Review shipments and have the driver sign paperwork after ensuring the load is correct. (check for quantity, quality, etc)
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Label finished products and allocate them to designated spaces.
• Keep the warehouse in a safe and clean environment.
• Abide by all safety regulations, including while on forklifts.
• Maintain equipment in clean and safe working conditions through daily inspections before startup.
• Assist with the inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education:
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
• 1-2 years of forklift operator experience.
• At least 2 years of receiving/shipping warehouse experience.
• 1-year experience operating standup forklift in a high drive-in racking system.
• Some knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
• Food manufacturing experience. – Preferred
