Electrician
Direct Hire; up to $35 per hour (62,500-70K)
Kenedy
Duties: - Identify, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and electrical faults/systems
- Read blueprints and wiring schematics
- Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit- breaker panels, and fasten in place with crews or bolts using hand or power tools
- Communicate with customers in a professional and respectful manner, answering all questions and supporting with complaints
- Replace boards in drives, fuses, and maintains PME.
- Troubleshoots motor issues
- Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures; abide by company policy in accurate time tracking, and adhere to provided schedule, subject to change with business needs
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent required; MUST be 18 years of age
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical field experience; 5 years of oil and gas electrical field experience highly preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License preferred; Master Electrician License highly preferred
- Access System experience preferred combined with extensive knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication, organizational, and technical skills
