COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Woodridge IL 60517 – 100% On-site
• Payrate: $24.45/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare IV antibiotics and TPNs in a clean, safe, and compliant environment. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compound sterile IV medications (including antibiotics and TPN) using aseptic technique.
• Work closely with pharmacists to prepare and fill IV prescriptions accurately.
• Enter and verify prescription and billing data in the pharmacy system.
• Prepackage and label medications according to state and federal regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with final verification and delivery coordination.
• Maintain organized, compliant inventory of medications and supplies.
• Support a clean, calibrated, and safe sterile compounding area.

COMPOUNDING PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (IV) – DAY SHIFT | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Compound sterile IV medications (including antibiotics and TPN) using aseptic technique.
• Work closely with pharmacists to prepare and fill IV prescriptions accurately.
• Enter and verify prescription and billing data in the pharmacy system.
• Prepackage and label medications according to state and federal regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with final verification and delivery coordination.
• Maintain organized, compliant inventory of medications and supplies.
• Support a clean, calibrated, and safe sterile compounding area.
