Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour

Contract to hire Role: Can be extended or converted based on job performance and attendance

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This contract-to-hire role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable organization. The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to assist in filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, managing inventory, and ensuring timely and accurate medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter data into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement payment.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with company standards and government regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist in the final verification of filled prescriptions, including staging, packaging, and delivery coordination.
• Support Pharmacy Management with inventory control — receiving, rotating, and tracking medications and supplies, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting in physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work with the Technician Supervisor to ensure proper calibration and safety of pharmacy equipment.

Requirements:

• DORA CPhT Colorado license required
• Compounding experience preferred 
• Good communication skills required
