What’s a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating CNC machines for production while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Loading and unloading parts efficiently between machine cycles to maintain production flow.
- Performing finishing and quality assurance operations while the machine is running.
- Accomplishing assembly or secondary operations in the immediate area during machine cycles.
- Changing out worn tooling as needed and informing supervisors of any non-conforming parts.
- Operating additional fabrication equipment as required, such as Robodrill and Bridgeport.
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of prior machine operator experience.
- Possess basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
- Are able to work effectively within a team environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Can read blueprints and inspection tools, and follow verbal and written work instructions
