What’s a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
  • Operating CNC machines for production while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Loading and unloading parts efficiently between machine cycles to maintain production flow.
  • Performing finishing and quality assurance operations while the machine is running.
  • Accomplishing assembly or secondary operations in the immediate area during machine cycles.
  • Changing out worn tooling as needed and informing supervisors of any non-conforming parts.
  • Operating additional fabrication equipment as required, such as Robodrill and Bridgeport.
  • Maintaining a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of prior machine operator experience.
  • Possess basic computer skills and good communication abilities.
  • Are able to work effectively within a team environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can read blueprints and inspection tools, and follow verbal and written work instructions
