KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. The Chief Facility Engineer will lead and manage the facilities engineering team responsible for maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery to support daily operations. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and managing all phases of equipment, electrical, mechanical, and building systems maintenance, facilities modification, and building projects from design through implementation. The role involves interaction with government customers, team members, and contractors. Required qualifications include TS/SCI clearance with poly willingness, 10 years of relevant experience, US citizenship, Professional Engineer license in a US state or territory, strong knowledge of building design, construction, and codes for MD, VA, and Federal, proven team management experience, expertise in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
