About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead the development and implementation of robust compliance frameworks that support the company's mission of providing fast, affordable, and reliable transaction solutions for businesses in emerging markets. The CCO will be responsible for end-to-end compliance, including strategy, execution, and team-building on a global scale. This pivotal role demands a leader with a strong founder's mindset, capable of both strategic vision and tactical execution, and who is comfortable with the full spectrum of compliance, from defining licensing roadmaps to operational details. Key responsibilities for the CCO include acting as the primary compliance liaison with regulators, banking partners, and auditors, as well as defining and executing licensing and regulatory expansion strategies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing compliance in high-growth environments, with a focus on fintech, payments, and stablecoins. The role also involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and revenue teams to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years' experience in compliance leadership, deep knowledge of global financial regulations, and a strong background in compliance operations, particularly in the areas of KYB, KYC, AML monitoring, and risk assessment.
