Job Description

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards. Responsibilities include unloading product from trailer by hand or hand cart in all weather conditions, ensuring paperwork is completed according to company and governmental guidelines, meeting food safety protocols, maintaining sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer, developing good customer relationships, and other duties as assigned by management. Requires a high school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and be insurable. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices required. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 350 pounds with a hand cart, climbing in and out of tractor and trailer, and working in various weather conditions. Work environment includes exposure to wet, hot, cold, humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Schedule includes overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and variable start times. Average earnings range from $95,000 to $110,000 per year with top earners making up to $130,000.
