The ideal candidate can work with minimal oversight but is willing to follow directions closely. Candidates must be teachable, willing to learn and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Basic Function Customer service-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Available shifts, Monday through Friday; some Saturdays (days and times may vary). Load and unload up to 75 lbs of landscaping material. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to use a navigation system to manage accurate and timely routes. Maintain all equipment and provide quality service at every job. Read an order form to accurately pick up and deliver the correct material. Comfortable working outside in extreme weather fluctuations. Must be willing to travel from location to location in the San Diego area. 21 years old or older. Driving 3+ years is a plus, but not required. Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Language skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees. Appearance: Employees will be required to wear the provided company attire and maintain a neat and clean appearance. Physical Demands Regularly required to bend, stand, squat, stoop, walk, push, pull, reach, handle and/or feel objects, tools or controls. Always required to wear appropriate safety equipment for the task, which may include gloves, goggles, aprons, belts, etc. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs daily.
