Job Description

Montgomery Automotive Group is a leading retailer of cars and trucks in the region. Our dealerships are currently hiring for a service advisor. This is your place to start a new opportunity within the automotive industry. We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who are looking to become a service advisor within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience within the automotive industry, especially as a service advisor.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers, setting appointments and utilizing all of the service tools we provide as well as the ability to utilize social media and have strong communication skills over the phone and by email and texting.
  • Secure an agreement from customer before repairs begin.
  • Cover estimate of cost, and approximate time when car will be completed.
  • Use service aids in a manner that will increase customer satisfaction and service sales.
  • Verify that the complaint, cause, and corrections are included on repair order before release.
  • Answer incoming phone calls by customers.
  • Follow-up on jobs completed by dealership as assigned.
  • Check with a Service Manager whenever a discount is a consideration.
  • Make sure all cars are returned to owners in clean and acceptable condition.
  • Other duties may be assigned by manager.

Automotive Service Advisor Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Previous dealership experience is required.
  • Must be proficient with computers and have the ability to use the CRM software.
  • Consistent work history.
  • Must have valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
