Job Description

A multi-product Commercial-Stage Biopharma, focused on developing and commercializing therapies for difficult to treat and serious conditions, is seeking a driven, collaborative, and energetic seasoned Commercial-focused Counsel to join its legal team. This role will provide the opportunity to be the legal leader on all commercialization efforts for the Companies expanding product portfolio. Reporting to the General Counsel, this individual will be a crucial member of the legal team and have a significant impact on the growth of the Company.

The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of commercial activities, including:

• Serving as lead counsel for legal, regulatory and compliance issues associated with product pricing and access matter, such as government price reporting and federal programs, and drafting and negotiating complex government and payor agreements.
• Lead counsel on marketing and advertising law, including review of marketing and promotional materials
• Provide counsel on rules and regulations including, FDA regulations, PhRMA Code, Anti-Kickback and False Claims Act, and other applicable statutes.

The ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Juris Doctor with 7+ years of experience in the Life Sciences
• A member of good standing of any state bar
• Significant FDA regulatory and product experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience of commercial contracts
• An upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
