The Wahpeton Daily News is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Full-Time Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to connect with local businesses, help them grow through effective marketing, and be part of a trusted community news organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations


• Develop and pitch advertising solutions across print, digital, and specialty products


• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals


• Manage client accounts from prospecting through campaign delivery


• Represent the paper at community events and networking opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate


• Strong communication and presentation skills


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively


• Knowledge of local business community is a plus


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

The expected compensation range is $48,000 - $56,000 per year
